Kelly Cassidy

Kelly began her career in the fitness industry immediately after college. As a graduate from Umass Lowell she competed in Track & Field specializing in sprints and hurdles for 4 years. Throughout college she worked as a strength & conditioning trainer at the Universities Recreation Center. Most recently she trains in a corporate fitness center as a Master Trainer. Her clientele have a variety of goals ranging from weight lose to 5k, 10k, Half & Full Marathons to multi-sport athletes. Kelly has also worked along side Umass-Boston’s research study “Team Up For Fitness”(TUFF). TUFF worked with disabled adolescents pairing them with there able body peers as exercise partners. Most participants were training to compete in their respected event at the Special Olympics.

Since 2006 Kelly has been certified through the American Council on Exercise and in October 2009 became a Level 1 Russian Kettlebell Instructor. She trains & instructs following the RKC School of Strength. Kelly has experience training & transitioning from a sprinter to endurance athlete. She has gone from a collegiate sprinter to running Boston in 2009 & multiple ½ Marathons.
