Awesome weather yesterday for the first night of BPC's track workouts. 15 new and "old" BPC showed up to lay it out there on the Harvard University Track in Brighton.
Coaches Kelly and Christina led the group thru warmups, dynamic mobility work and then a tough challenge of 3 x 1200's on 10K pace followed by 4 X400's as 200 hard/200 easy.
What was interesting to see was how the athletes did based on experience. Several participants were BPC group coached athletes from last years track workouts, or group strength workouts. Those athletes have really come a long way in their run form and speed overall. It was awesome to see how the coaching and strength work is paying off.
Those new to our workouts are probably pretty sore and fatigued today. However, I think all athletes felt like it was a great workout and we look forward to next "tough Tuesday"
